Bobbing Along in Bliss!

We have our very own river, the River Elwy, within our grounds and this makes the perfect setting for all the water activities we offer and increasingly popular are our Sit-On-Top Kayaks during the summer months.

Rather than having an enclosed cockpit the paddler is positioned on top of the kayak above the water’s surface, so they don’t feel like they are trapped inside of the kayak and these are great for larger bodies.

In the event of an accidental capsize the kayaks are far easier to re-enter and they have self-bailing scupper holes to let the water drain out of the cockpit. This is a hugely fun activity for young and old!
