We have always been delighted with Open Door Adventure. Professional and responsive staff, a varied programme of challenging activities, tailored to our needs, and an amazing location all made our visits there a real pleasure and a valuable experience for our pupils.

Our daughter is only 5 and probably the youngest to ever canoe there. Danny the instructor made a big impression and we were astonished at how she forgot her prior concerns and enjoyed every second.

Deborah is probably the most accommodating person I have ever met and we can’t wait to hear more of Dave’s adventures.

We’ll be back.

Dear Dave, Many thanks again for such an awesome week-end- we had the wedding on Saturday(everything went superbly well) but all anyone wanted to talk about was the now legendry Stag-Do! The outstanding feature for me was the wonderful service we received from you and your team – we all felt so welcome and at home within minutes of arriving – that made such a huge contribution to the instant “gelling” of the group and really was the catalyst for a great weekend. Anyway – as I said – many many many thanks from all of us who attended the do. It was a truly memorable and thoroughly enjoyable week – end. Hi David, Rory, Trev, Al and Cheryl We just wanted to say a great big thank you to all of you guys for making our weekend with you so enjoyable. We all took a great deal from it and had a truly brilliant time. You all made us feel really welcome and we loved the whole experience from start to finish, it’s just a shame it was over so quickly. Everything was so well organised and great fun, right through from the ice-breakers to the cooking to the activities themselves. I left open door feeling as proud of the group as they were of themselves, This week has been a very positive effect on all and I can say that I feel truly privileged that I am able to be associated with such a professional and experienced trainer as yourself, (Dave Orange) you really do inspire and motivate people, and I cannot wait to return for our next course in two months time. As you know I have used your services on a number of occasions and can honestly say that I have never had any reason for complaint. It’s crazy. I wake up expecting to hear the hounds and come down for breakfast! I miss everything so much. Staying with you made me realise that amidst all the hurt and horror in the world there are places where the world doesn’t seem like such a bad place after all. You’re kind and accepting attitude means that people feel at ease to be themselves and just get on as people should! A place where no matter who you are or where you come from everyone is equal and everyone gives everyone a chance. Sitting on the bench outside at night was so peaceful and everyone felt at ease. At ease to speak their mind, so rare these days, anyway I just wanted you to know how wonderful it was to stay with you. We have found the centre we have been looking for at Open Door. Your course delivery is of a very high standard and you are flexible to the client’s needs and wishes, this contributed greatly to our Team Development and enjoyment of the programme you designed for our managers

Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, your team from the Universities and the instructors at Open Door Adventure, St Asaph, Wales for giving us the opportunity to take part in the team building day on Tuesday 9^th April 2014. Our New Horizons team of 21 staff (the whole team in fact) attended the day and I can honestly say that on a personal level it was without doubt the best “work based” activity I have ever experienced and the feedback I have had from the team has been unanimously positive. We can 100% recommend this holiday.  We had a short break with lots of activities.  Both of our kids enjoyed everything and as a family, we did things that we never thought possible.  We were Team Barton for the stay, getting on, having fun and most importantly working together to ensure we were all safe.  The instructors were knowledgable, calm and most of all fun to spend time with.  The food was fab, so nice not to cook during our stay. I can’t sing everyones praises enough !  We loved every moment and will treasure all the wonderful memories.  Needless to say, we’ll be back 😊
