Aber Fall Waterfall Guided Walk
Aber Falls Waterfall Guided Walk
Water, Water Everywhere!!
You may wonder “Why do we need Instructors to take us on a walk?” Well quite simply, because we live in North Wales, we know how you can get the best out of our beautiful Welsh Homeland.
We take you on the walk on a route to the Falls that will provide you with views of the Carneddau mountains and back via higher ground on the west side of the valley providing panoramic views of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. Points of interest include archaeological remains and links to the last rulers of Gwynedd, whose thirteenth century court was at Abergwyngregyn.
The waterfall is formed as the Afon Goch plunges about 120 feet over a sill of igneous rock in the foothills of the Carneddau range—it is quite simply stunning; however, the North Wales outdoors is prone to quickly changing weather conditions. We are fully qualified to lead groups, at any time of the year, in a safe way that means you can get out into the wilds safely.
Walking in open terrain can present personal physical challenge as well as mental challenge – but we tailor the walks to the abilities of the group, so yes, we’ll stretch you, but we’ll make sure you’ll enjoy the unique environment that the landscape presents.
