It will be a day full of 8 exciting taster outdoor pursuit activities from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 10th July 2021, at our centre 3 miles from #StAsaph in #BontNewydd LL17 0HN.

Thank you so much Dave, Deborah and team for enabling us to spend a superb extended family weekend reunion exclusively at Dolben Hall. It was ideally situated for us, family members coming from Scotland, Ireland, Wirral, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.

Our group of eleven adults and eleven children found the accommodation and facilities ideal. The younger children loved being together in the larger bedroom!

The isolation in the beautiful valley, the river, the walks, the night-time fire pit and the grandeur of Dolben Hall itself was splendid. Our family’s amateur chefs loved the professional kitchen and the large dining hall.

The family left buzzing with the thought of our next reunion in two or three years’ time.

We pre-booked activities elsewhere, but next time we would book some of the amazing activities offered by Open Door Adventure.

Friday 1st April saw the first of two consecutive Hen weekends at Dolben Hall and this one was for bride-to-be Sophie who is marrying Paul in July. 💍 💒

As Sophie has been living in Dubai for the last 7 years, sister Vicki Bradford arranged and booked everything for the special weekend which included a Festival Food Van on the Friday evening, a Dance Class in the local Village Hall on the Saturday followed by a delivery of luxury afternoon tea and bottomless brunch!

On the Saturday evening Dolben Hall was bouncing as the group had a live acoustic band and disco accompanied by a Pizza Delivery service. 🍕🎶

35 family and friends joined the celebration with the age range being 18-75! Whilst a lot of the visitors live in North Wales, several had to travel from Manchester, the Lake District and London.

Vicki sent an email to us Monday morning:

“We had the best weekend at #Dolben. Everyone commented on the accommodation and the incredible setting. We were so lucky with the weather too!! “ ☀️

We’re delighted to say Vicki has now already booked a large family get-together at Dolben Hall for 2023!
