High Ropes, Jacob’s Ladder & Leap of Faith
A really challenging but exhilarating activity that requires participants (young and old) to muster all their confidence and courage to climb to the top of a 10-metre tree, navigate their way up to the platform and then – jump off! It’s not called the “Leap of Faith” for no reason ….
The 15-metre Jacob’s Ladder is part of the same activity but a different task. In this, you ascend to the top of Jacob by increasing rung heights, utilising team members for encouragement, guidance and advice. As you rise to the dizzy height you ring the bell at the top to announce to the world you’ve made it! You are then lowered safely to the ground.
You’ll be safely harnessed up throughout and your Instructors who will talk you through each element, offering support and handy tips and techniques for achieving this feat.
You’ll need to grab, push, pull yourself up and work with other members of your team to get to the top; it’s very physical but you’ll feel so proud of yourself when you’ve done it as it’s hardly the sort of thing you do every day!
